There are a number of new features that were released by Instructure. These include updated notification preference display, enhanced analytics, quiz statistics, and the release of feedback to group assignments.

When students view their assignment submission within Canvas, they should now see the ‘View Feedback’ or ‘Preview’ links.

Instructors now have the option to ensure that feedback on group assignments is available to the entire group.
Decimal points in calculated grade

If made available by instructors, students will now see their calculated final grade with two decimal points (i.e. 95.76).

The interface for customizing notification preferences has been updated, so all options are now visible on the screen.
Instructor view of statistics for manually graded quiz questions

In addition to showing a link to SpeedGrader, quiz statistics show relative grade performance for manually graded essay and file upload quiz question types. Manually graded question types are now shown in the same table format as other quiz types. A manually graded quiz type is marked as correct if it contains a student score greater than or equal to the question points possible.
Group Name is now added to the group discussion title

When a discussion is associated with a group set, each group’s title will be added to the discussion title. This should help instructors and students know when they are in a group discussion vs. a course level discussion.
